Hello world!

For long, I set out to be perfect—now, I seek only to be real. From moving out of everything I’ve known to finding myself, I’ve lived a life that teaches you to find joy and laughs when it’s the toughest. If you’ve ever felt a little out of place but full of purpose, you’re in the right spot.
People hope, want, and pray for a life on solid ground. I did, too.
But life dealt me a different set of cards – the one with faith, grit, and uncertainties.
With kids in tow, morning after morning behind a mic, and moments of silence in my backyard, I lived stories I only thought existed in books.
Whether it’s family that sticks together, faith that drives you, or a funny memory that breaks the tension, I believe in holding space for hard truths and the light that breaks through.
In my tireless quest for a perfect life, I found the one worth telling and even more worth sharing.
Radio veteran. Resilient storyteller. Now—novelist.
In Heart Shaped Stone, Arby Corry pours her grit and wit into her protagonist, Caila Domenici, a woman who loses a decade of her life, only to find herself in a mystery involving memory, identity… and the CIA.
Caila’s journey is one of discovering yourself, much like Arby’s own. Raw, bold, and full of heart, this story is shaped by truths lived through experiences.
I believe life doesn’t always hand you easy pages. From finding my voice in my career to setting a new life cross-country, I’ve braved the storms most people would dodge. With grit, grace, and God at my side, I refused to let the toughest part of my life define the end of my story.
Laughter was the way I healed, survived, and connected. Whether I was behind the mic, at the dinner table with family, or just with myself, humor reminded me I wasn’t alone.
Faith has always been at the core of every decision of my life. Faith isn’t simply a part of my story; it’s the reason I am still here – thriving, smiling, and here to tell my story.
“Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.”
I chased perfection – tirelessly, stubbornly, and persistently. Perfect, choices, perfect, outcomes, perfect timing – I chased them all. But life had other plans for me. I learned, rather the hard way, that letting go was where peace lived. I embraced the flaws and the messy middle – and found it to be rather beautiful, real, and peaceful.

I did enjoy this story. Story line took me by surprise several times! Considering the thousands of books I've read over the years, that is not easy to do. This story took me by surprise several times. Considering the thousands of books I've read, that is not easy to do. Very enjoyable read, and I am hoping there is another installment in the works.

4.0 out of 5 stars All I can say is ...."Is there a sequel and when will it be available!
Heart-shaped Stone has all the elements one would look in a suspense, romantic fiction novel. From the first chapter to the very end, the author portrays incredible detail and allows you to really visualize the reading as if you are in the story as it plays out. There were elements of humor, suspense, romance and twists and turns along the way that kept me guessing. Being personally close to the author, it was an honor to say I was entrusted to be the first to read and write a review with my thoughts. Being a working mom of a precocious toddler, I can honestly say that these days, I do not get much time for myself, but I will say this book made me want to make time, because all I wanted was to know what happened next.

Arby Corry is a versatile and an established author, with books from multiple genre. This book is for women who feel out of step with the times, Will the Last Prude in America… offers solidarity, laughter, and courage. Arby Corry’s spirited words remind you that holding on to your values is not isolation, it’s strength. You’re not alone, and together, you can turn quiet conviction into powerful influence.
Page-turning, full of surprises. Fleshed out characters with flaws and real personalities. Better than a romance novel. Unexpected and fun.
